In keeping with its tropical surroundings, the Bayman Bay Club features wooden cabanas built on the hillsides surrounding the white sand beach and rocky shoreline of Isla de Guanaja. Each has an ocean view and has a spacious bedroom and private bathroom. Every cabana also has a private veranda with a spectacular view of the beautiful blue Caribbean and is within a short walk of the Club House. Cooled by ceiling fans and shaded by tropical trees, these guest houses are comfortable year round.
The individual cabins are carefully screened by jungle so the arrangement is great if you are looking forward to a private interlude with your spouse. Iguanas roamed around freely and the atmosphere was casual. Flora and fauna were at your doorstep just as expected in the tropics.
The Bayman Bay Club features a gift shop with local crafts and traditional tourist items. Other services include laundry, water taxi, phone and fax usage. Dive and Snorkel equipment rentals are available, as is instruction/certification in diving and snorkeling.
The centerpiece of the Bayman Bay Club is the 'Clubhouse', the largest structure on the resort. This is the center of resort activity where guests gather for meals, shoot a game of pool, and socialize. There is a well-stocked bar, a library, a gameroom, and a spacious observation deck atop this four-tier structure.
